Gasper Outdoor Living Perfected magazine | Early Spring 2024 | Gasper Landscape Design & Construction
Every February, Gasper publishes an issue featuring every outdoor furniture brand in the Gasper Exterior Furnishings Studio. In past editions, each page was dedicated to a furniture brand. The new approach focuses on how people shop for furniture: by type (seating, dining) and construction (wood, aluminum, woven). The new approach mixes brands so the reader can easily compare them. An index is included at the end of the section for those interested in shopping by brand. The remainder of the issue introduces the other divisions of Gasper: Landscape Design & Construction, Home & Garden Center, and the Bucks County Hardscape & Building Supply. Including all Gasper divisions in one publication allows furniture buyers to explore all the other outdoor living options Gasper offers. A landscape design project and a summary of educational workshops are included. The publication is designed in a magazine style to add a sense of credibility and sets Gasper up as the educational leader in the outdoor living industry..

William Penn Charter School | Penn Charter Alumni Magazine
This coed, K-12 Quaker day school in Philadelphia took the suggestion and followed the college model in the redesign of their 2-color magazine into a full 4-color one using double page spread features as well as varied and interesting departments. The magazine was repositioned for all-school readership appeal rather than an alumni-only audience and soon became an award winner. The community response was overwhelming. Upon receiving the first issue, an alumnus from Sweden was prompted to write a congratulatory note to the head of school and express his wishes to return for reunion. Penn Charter has seen continued success with the 4-color magazine in subsequent issues. The type treatment for the banner of the magazine drove the design for the logo that was used for the viewbook, the capital campaign and subsequent school-wide branding.

William Penn Charter School | Report of Gifts
Penn Charter saw great success when they moved their report of gifts from their magazine into a stand-alone piece several years ago, and they continue to receive positive feedback. The latest report marks the end of their $40 million plus Frameworks for the Future capital campaign, and Penn Charter used this opportunity to include a campaign wrap up. In addition to the traditional listing of gifts, the publication contains information on the implications of the campaign on the school’s future, stories on why donors gave, campaign project updates and more. The piece is another reminder of how an inspiring and motivating campaign tied to the brand message of a school will benefit the school long after the campaign is complete.
